Soulcalibur VI: The Witcher Geralt Announced as Character

The flame of the eternal blade continues to rage on as yet another character is announced for the roster of Soulcalibur VI. The legendary slayer of beasts, Geralt of Rivia will be part of the game on all platforms. This is the lead character from The Witcher series being brought in full form to the combative fighting game from Bandai Namco. As a bonus for fans this character will have his English voice actor, Doug Cockle returning to voice. There will additionally be a Kaer Morhen level from the series and Geralt will have "Hunt or Be Hunted" composition from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as he enters battle.

The official character description follows; "Geralt was trained at the elite School of the Wolf and is considered one of the deadliest monster slayers. He possesses superhuman reflexes and strength, as well as superior sword fighting skills. Players who choose to fight as Geralt will utilize the witcher’s signature fighting style — a combination of swordplay, ability-enhancing potions, and combat magic." Soulcalibur VI will take the series back to its origins arriving in 2018 on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC platforms.
