The latest batch of Xbox Backwards Compatible games are now available bringing three new titles to the program. Now as of January 30, 2018 we have three fresh titles available on Xbox One and further consoles sourced from the Xbox 360. The list includes Spec Ops: The Line, The Darkness II and The Misadventures of PB WinterBottom as Xbox Backwards Compatible games. This means you can input the disc or just download them digitally if previously owned to enjoy the games once more. Some of these titles are disc or digital based, you can also install previously owned digital content from them such as maps or cosmetic items from the ready to install portion of the game area. The games will run exactly like they did on Xbox 360, yet perform much better overall.
Spec Ops: The Line is a very intense narrative driven shooter that completely switches up the experience from the heroic aspect. It's gritty, dark and something no one would expect, it makes you question your role as a hero. The Darkness II is a first person shooter with elements of the unknown and supernatural coming into play. The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom is a very stylized game with a bleak design to it. All the games should be available to play right away though it may take some time for the servers to fully refresh for them, but they should all be available as of the posted date above. These titles join almost 450 titles available on the program and it continues to grow all the time.
