The toy based fly from space to planet Starlink: Battle for Atlas Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "in development" for an enhancement and that honestly isn't at all surprising since most Ubisoft games are supporting this feature. This will be a title ported to multiple platforms and hopefully that doesn't hold back the potential visuals for the premium console. For now all the details we have is that it's "in-development" with no current mention of 4k resolution or HDR support. There's also no current mention of support for VRR.
It will most likely be enhanced right upon regular launch on Xbox as opposed to post. For context, Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an open world space flying game where players can zip across the cosmos. Explore space and then dive right onto the surface of planets to battle without any sort of loading screens. Face off in various ship stances with easy changes and tackle bosses across lively environments. There's also a toy factor where players can adjust a real model with other parts to tweak their ship in-game. Players also don't specifically need the toys to do this, but it can be more fun with them. The Starlink: Battle for Atlas Xbox One X enhanced release is set for October 16, 2018.
