Star Wars Battlefront 2 continues to grow with the conclusion of The Last Jedi in-game promotion and details on upcoming events. To start things off I'll go over the key features that are coming soon and what sort of changes to expect in the game. Further below you'll be able to find details on the results of what happened when the light side clashed against the dark during The Last Jedi event.
-Details on a completely revamped progression system will be released in March 2018. This is supposed to address issues players have had with progressing across the experience.
-Jetpack Cargo, a new mode will be available for a limited time starting the last week of January 2018. It will feature two teams of eight players that are equipped with jet packs battling against one another.
-A new season of Star Wars Battlefront 2 is on the horizon, no details were given on this.
Now to the fun and interesting statistics behind The Last Jedi event. Together ten million quests were completed for factions. There was a split of 58% that chose the dark side with Captain Phasma and 42% with Finn on the light side. The dark side did end up winning this battle. There were 15.8 million takedowns as Finn with only 8.2 million takedowns as Captain Phasma. The community was able to battle it out on Crait with 157 million spawns on that planet. The Ski Speeder saw 12 million spawns as troops raced out to face The First Order.
When it comes to space D'Qar saw 35 million spawns and 689 thousand spawned in Tallie Lintra A-Wings. The event was an interesting first release of free DLC providing a range of content for the entire Star Wars Battlefront 2 experience. Hopefully more similar content will arrive in the future.
