It looks as though a Sunset Overdrive PC version is happening after the game is given an ESRB rating. This comes many years after the game released as a Xbox One exclusive early in the generation. This was a rather unexpected situation as the game has been sitting there for awhile without any sort of recent additional content or updates. The title did receive a couple DLC releases so there's extra content possible for a collection type situation. There are no further details in regards to what one might expect with this releases, it's unknown if it'll end up on Steam, another PC marketplace or joining the Windows 10 Store.
This does open the possibility for it to be a Xbox Play Anywhere title and it could be an announcement at X018. The title is once again rated "M" for mature with the noted following details; "Blood and Gore, Drug Reference, Sexual Themes, Strong Language, Violence". For context, this is a game about movement and big explosions. The release of a special energy drink has mutated the local population and you're stuck in the middle of it. Customize a character, meet others and battle your way through a hilarious campaign. There's also a competitive cooperative multiplayer included too. We'll have more details as they're announced, read our old review of the game or view the walkthrough below.
