The Medium has been announced for Xbox Series X and it has a release date of 2020. What’s really interesting about this Bloober Team game is that it supports a number of next generation features. With the Xbox Series X Optimization the title will feature a 4k resolution with ray tracing technology.

It specifically mentions using the SSD for a single, seamless cinematic experience without loading screens. They are also teasing more surprises to be announced in the coming months as to why this is perfect for the specific console platform.
The Medium Xbox Series X
”There’s never on simple truth to what a person will perceive”, this is apparently the inspiration behind the game. This is a psychological horror title built around a central motif, with that being “how your perspective changes your perception”. Players will take on the role of Marianne, a medium hounded by visions. These are living, and interacting across two worlds. The one we know, and the spirit world.

Her visions guide her towards an abandoned hotel in Krakow, the site of a terrible tragedy from many years ago. It’s hiding a mystery that only someone with her specific abilities will be able to solve. This will have a score composed by Akira Yamaoka of the Silent Hill series in partnership with the team’s Arkadiusz Reikowski. Visit both worlds, and see that there’s no one simple truth to the matter. Also, visit a spooky review of ours below, or the general platform for additional coverage of the console.
