It looks like the popular free to play Warframe Xbox One X Enhanced release is confirmed as the official tracking list on Xbox has it noted. The game is listed as being "in development" for an enhancement and that's great to see as a number of similar games are also getting the treatment. It was somewhat of a surprise, but I do anticipate many older free to play games to get patched up over time to properly take advantage of the extra power. I hope the patch does provide multiple graphics options as that's always great to see. For now all the details we have is that it will be getting an update with no word on 4k resolution or if HDR will be supported. When games are included on the Xbox One X listing page there's typically no reference for a release window of when they might get the update so it could happen at any point.
It'll most likely end up being given a "coming soon" tag closer to when it comes out or the patch may just randomly appear. If you're not familiar with Warframe on Xbox One, it was an earlier free to play release that has received constant support. There have been tons of updates, new Achievements and while I've been busy I'll be looking forward to checking it out again once this patch comes out. It's a linear, yet open style of game where you work cooperatively with others across a series of missions on many worlds. You upgrade yourself as a weapon and work to battle the many enemies that you come across. There's a good mix of gameplay here and its worth checking out if you're looking for something different, free and cooperative focused.
