Xbox App Phone Clip & Screenshot Saving Now Available

The Xbox App on phones will now allows clips and screenshots to be saved directly onto the devices. This a welcomed option, and certainly one that has been desired by the community for a long time. This is initially available under the testflight and beta offerings, to be available for everyone else eventually. To use this functionality you simply go to the captures tab and then select a photo or video that you've saved.

You then click the "share arrow" to get a list of features. This includes things such as your general Xbox account, club or to messages. There's also now an option at the bottom to save. This will download the full high quality version of either videos or screenshots right to your phone. The quality is excellent and it makes it easy for use on say Facebook, Twitter or Instagram which is great. It is fantastic that there's now an easier way to share your best moments on the console.
