Xbox Game Pass PC has just recently launched, and with that they’re already working on improving the search functionality. That comes in the form of having a special way to just showcase the games on the Windows Store that support Xbox Achievements. With the release of Game Pass, Microsoft relaxed certain elements for PC, such as supporting the Gamerscore system and now it’ll be pushed forward with its own spot as many gamers enjoy working towards these goals.
This was noted in a replay from Mike Ybarra, Corporate Vice President of Gaming at Microsoft on Twitter. ”an area in the Game Pass section of the app very soon. Our vision is that all games support the benefits and continuity of Xbox Live - cross play, progression, achievements, friends, leaderboards, etc.” It seems like Microsoft is very open to enhancing this new way to access games as they aim to battle for market share subscription wise on the continuously growing PC platform.
