Xbox Spring Sale 2020 Xbox One Recommendations

The Xbox build towards the thawing sale is now live, or well the Xbox Spring Sale 2020 is kicked off and we thought it was best to compile some top recommendations. With there being a plethora of somewhat festive games, here are the best deals and in general the greatest games you should be checking out on the Xbox ecosystem.

We've also taken the time to label games if they're Xbox One X enhanced for Xbox One platforms. This is a great sale and we hope that the recommendations for this Countdown sale selection are quality. If you're purchasing any of the games please do so through our link as its affiliate based.

A Way Out "Enhanced" ($7.49)
-The ultimate cooperative venture as you try many ways to escape from jail, together.

Abzu ($10)
-This is a lovely water based adventure that's filled colorful fish and fairly simplistic things to do.

Anthem "Enhanced" ($8.99)
-Multiplayer focused RPG type game with mech suits you wear, it's got some interesting gameplay.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles Trilogy ($7.49)
-Three unique entries in the series are all platformer based, but vary in what sort of gameplay style they provide.

Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection ($11.99)
-These are typically the most well loved entries of the older games, bundled together with some enhancements.

Assassin's Creed: Origins Gold "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-Head to Egypt with a refined set of systems that set the stage for Odyssey, a gorgeous and lively desert world to explore.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue Remastered "Enhanced" ($14.99)
-The interesting bridge release between generations is enhanced and bringing a lot of sailing for players.

Batman: Return to Arkham ($9.99)
-This includes the first two Batman titles of Asylum and City with enhanced gameplay elements for the current generation.

Battlefield V Year 2 "Enhanced" ($30)
-The latest entry in this well known franchise, it has been given some updates and changes for season two.

Bioshock: The Collection ($15)
-The iconic Bioshock games come together in one updated package, a must-have.

Borderlands: GOTY "Enhanced" ($15)
-The original Borderlands with all extra content and enhanced for the current generation.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection "Enhanced" ($15)
-Borderlands 2 with all of its content, as well as the Pre-Sequel and its content enhanced.

Borderlands 3 "Enhanced" ($30)
-The latest entry in the series brings the story forward against new enemies in a full solar system.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 "Enhanced" ($30)
-The latest Call of Duty, with a focus on multiplayer and the hyped up Blackout battle royale mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles Edition ($19.79)
-This takes Black Ops 3 and adds a ton of zombie focused extra content to the game including iconic maps.

Call of Duty: WW2 Gold "Enhanced" ($19.79)
-The entirety of this World War 2 release that takes the series back with all of the extra content.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Gold ($19.79)
-While it's an older Call of Duty it has a gripping campaign, intense multiplayer and an aliens based zombies mode. All DLC included.

Cities: Skylines "Enhanced" ($10)
-Build whatever sort of awesome city you want in this expansive creation simulation game.

Conan Exiles "Enhanced" ($19.99)
-Open world survival game set within the hostile and brutal world of Conan, breasts are present too, so, ya.

Control "Enhanced" ($38.99)
-This incredible narrative driven experience from Remedy delivers an interesting mission into a building.

Crackdown 3 "Enhanced" ($23.99)
-It's all about getting skills for the kills you earn in this coop focused game of boom.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy "Enhanced" ($20)
-The Crash titles enhanced and looking stunning despite their age, if you're a fan this is a great deal.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled "Enhanced" ($23.99)
-The Crash racing title enhanced with brand new content and all the karting action you could ever desire.


Cuphead "Enhanced" ($14.99)
-Two player coop focused, or single too lovely hand drawn platformer boss battler that's hardcore.

Dark Souls Remastered "Enhanced" ($15.99)
-The hardcore title returns with remastered elements and it's ready for you to die again.

Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin ($9.99)
-The hardcore sequel asks if you'd like to die some more, and more.

Dark Souls III "Enhanced" ($14.99)
-Wow, back again for another round? The third hardcore follow-up brings more death.

Darksiders Genesis "Enhanced" ($35.99)
-Two player focused coop title that's a twin stick shooter set within the Darksiders franchise.

Darksiders 3 "Enhanced" ($35.99)
-For those wondering what Fury has been up to, this is the latest main entry in the series.

DayZ "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-A multiplayer focused zombie survival game where other players are the real threat out there.

Dead Rising ($5.99)
-The first zombie survival game in a mall.

Dead Rising 2 ($5.99)
-The second zombie survival game with coop in a gambling strip.

Dead Rising 2 Off the Record ($5.99)
-The second zombie srvival game with coop minus an annoying kid in a gambling strip with a cooler lead.

Dead Rising 4 "Enhanced" ($20)
-The game really isn't that bad, it's well worth this price tag to check it out.

Destiny 2: Upgrade Edition ($33.49)
-This includes the Shadowkeep and Forsaken content so you're up to date on content.

DOOM "Enhanced" ($9.99)
-The 2016 DOOM which brings single player and multiplayer action.

DOOM Classic "Enhanced" ($2.49)
-The 1993 DOOM which brings single player action.

-The 1994 DOOM which brings single player action, again.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen ($11.99)
-Lots of people really seem to like Dragon's Dogma.

-The main experience, none of the DLC and all the mods, it's a great time. Just remember to find your son, if you have time

Far Cry 5 Gold + Far Cry New Dawn Deluxe "Enhanced" ($38.99)
-These two actually are one cohesive story and you get countless hours out of this bundle.

Forza Horizon 4 "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-Simply the best racing game ever.

Full Metal Furies ($6.59)
-Overlooked, but a really well done game that's rather intense.

Gears 5 "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-A larger campaign than ever before, more intense multiplayer and updates to support the series.

Ghostbusters The Game Remastered "Enhanced" ($11.99)
-This was originally the third entry in the movie series, get out there with the OG squad to bust some ghosts!

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice "Enhanced" ($14.99)
-An incredible narrative driven venture into the mind of the insane, wear headphones.

Hitman 2 Gold "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-All of Hitman 2, plus Hitman, one badass bundle of assassinations.

Hitman HD Enhanced Collection "Enhanced" ($17.99)
-You get Absolution and Blood Money bundled here as one good little pack.

Hunt: Showdown "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-A great multiplayer focused hunting game where you're alone or in teams. Gritty and dark.

Just Cause 4 Reloaded "Enhanced" ($13.99)
-It's honestly a lot of fun if you just like blowing things up, or attaching them to grappling hooks to blow them up (shrug emoticon).

Journey to the Savage Planet "Enhanced" ($17.99)
-What an absolutely weird yet wonderful journey to such a strange planet, coop too.

LEGO City Undercover ($11.99)
-It's like a LEGO game combined with Grand Theft Auto, open world and well done.

LEGO DC Super-Villains Deluxe "Enhanced" ($22.49)
-Be the bad guys, it's a LEGO game, so fun. All of the DLC too.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection "Enhanced" ($16)
-The entire Hogwarts journey combined, and enhanced.

LEGO Marvel Collection "Enhanced" ($23.99)
-What incredible value, the first LEGO Marvel, the second one and the Avengers title including all the DLC for each.


Life is Strange Complete ($4)
-Buy it, right now, you won't regret it. This game was my #2 behind The Witcher 3 for that year.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm Deluxe "Enhanced" ($4.99)
-Buy it, goes hand in hand with the initial game. You need deluxe as the prequel episode will break your heart.

Life is Strange 2 Complete ($4)
-Follow two brothers as they try to escape from the United States after a bad accident.

Madden NFL 20 "Enhanced" ($19.79)
-If you've been waiting, a good time for sure.

Mega Man 30th Anniversary Bundle ($40.19)
-This has 11, X Legacy and X Legacy 2, with Legacy Collection as well as Legacy Collection 2.

Metro Exodus ($17.99)
-Head above the ground in this latest entry in the Metro series.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Definitive "Enhanced" ($17.99)
-It's like Assassin's Creed on steroids with orcs and Middle-Earth, also all the content.

Mortal Kombat 11 Premium ($29.69)
-The latest entry in the brutal series that comes with the extra fighters too.

Murdered: Soul Suspect ($3)
-It's cheap, someone buy this game help them out, it was obviously neglected.

NBA 2K20 ($19.79)
-If you've been waiting for some Basketball.

NHL 20 ($19.79)
-If you've been waiting for some hockey.

Onrush "Enhanced" ($4.99)
-Great racing game, incredibly cheap price too.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds "Enhanced" ($10)
-PUBG, the tactical and realistic battle royale that sold like crazy on Xbox.

Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville"Enhanced" ($9.99)
-A great shooter for kids featuring tons of plants vs zombies action across neat modes.

Quantum Break "Enhanced" ($9.99)
-For $10 this game is really awesome, I think it's amazing.

Rage 2 "Enhanced" ($17.99)
-Time to get angry in the apocalypse for this punk-like shooter sequel.

ReCore "Enhanced" ($9.99)
-Ok, if you don't buy it we won't get a sequel, so get on that already.

Red Dead Redemption 2 "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-You're like a cowboy, Rockstar didn't make enough on this I guess?

Resident Evil 2 Remake "Enhanced" ($19.99)
-Welcome to the thrills of battling through this zombie infested place again.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration "Enhanced" ($8.99)
-All of the incredible Rise of the Tomb Raider, plus DLC.

Ryse: Legendary ($7.50)
-I'm starting to think we're not going to see a sequel for this, just once I'd like to see the DLC on sale. It's a cool Roman game, I like history so I liked it.

Scribblenauts Mega Pack "Enhanced" ($15.99)
-Two amazing games of creativity that's perfect for the younger audience, or anyone.

Sea of Thieves "Enhanced" ($19.99)
-I think they're adding fishing to it, or did for the anniversary. YOU GET TO BE A PIRATE, PLAY ANYWHERE, RARE.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive "Enhanced" ($19.79)
-Lara Croft works out and decides to go into the jungle to fight Trinity, the conclusion of her origin trilogy.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy "Enhanced" ($19.99)
-Spyro came back, looking better than ever and the games are awesome.

Star Wars: Battlefront II "Enhanced" ($12.49)
-Look, they've fixed things and have given you one Clone Wars planet, grab this before the third one.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order "Enhanced" ($35.99)
-This brand new narrative driven story follows a Jedi after the fall of society.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas "Enhanced" ($24)
-Fly in a space ship, it's cool and all. I'm quite tired at this point. Take my word on it, soar around casually, good for younger ones.

Sunset Overdrive Deluxe ($11.99)
-We're likely to never get a sequel, but this one is certainly a gem!

Super Lucky's Tale "Enhanced" ($9.99)
-Cute 3D platformer, lots to do in it, Lucky is fun.

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim Special Edition ($19.99)
-Skyrim never will leave you alone, this is a special updated version of it.

The Evil Within 2 "Enhanced" ($13.19)
-The real evil within is how tired I am writing these all down again, but this sequel comes close.

The Outer Worlds "Enhanced" ($38.99)
-This is basically Fallout, but in space and a ton of fun for an epic RPG.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOTY "Enhanced" ($14.99)
-The best game of the generation, still.

Titanfall 2 "Enhanced" ($4.50)
-Have you taken a second to hear from our most prized and under rated lord, Titanfall 2?

Trine: Ultimate Collection ($19.99)
-All of the Trine games, in a pack.

The Division 2 "Enhanced" ($10.49)
-This one is really good, too many hours, too many things to do quite honestly. Like, Ubisoft, cut back to make these reviews faster. Hard to have a life and spend tens of hours reviewing these open world games.

Tomb Raider: Definitive ($4.49)
-This game was really good, so they touched it up for the current generation.

Trials Rising Gold "Enhanced" ($15.99)
-The best Trials they've made, lots of trialing things here.

Unravel Yarny Bundle "Enhanced" ($9.89)
-I made a Yarny when the first game came out, it's on a cool display shelf now. Lovely games.

Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate "Enhanced" ($9.99)
-BECAUSE WHY NOT? YOU TOO GOOD TO LOOK AFTER THESE ANIMALS?
