The Xbox Ultimate Game Sale is now live, or well the Xbox Summer Sale 2020 is kicked off and we thought it was best to compile some top recommendations. With there being a plethora of somewhat festive games, here are the best deals and in general the best games you should be checking out on Xbox One.

We've also taken the time to label games if they're Xbox One X enhanced for Xbox One platforms. This is a great sale and we hope that the recommendations for this Countdown sale selection are quality. If you're purchasing any of the games please do so through our link as its affiliate based.

-This is a lovely water based adventure that's filled colorful fish and fairly simplistic things to do.

Agents of Mayhem "Enhanced" ($5.99)
-It's all about blasting enemies within this futuristic open world game that's similar to Saints Row.

Anthem "Enhanced" ($8.99)
-Multiplayer focused RPG type game with mech suits you wear, it's got some interesting gameplay.

Ark: Survival Evolved "Enhanced" ($9.99)
-An expansive dino and larger monster survival game where other players could be a problem too.

-The latest entry in this well known franchise, it has been given some updates.

-This is a multiplayer focused brawling title with hero elements involved within the combat.

-The latest entry in the series brings the story forward against new enemies in a full solar system.

-The hardcore title returns with remastered elements and it's ready for you to die again.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First ($9.99)
-The second entry in the series where you will learn to love the term "You Have Died".

-Wow, back again for another round? The third hardcore follow-up brings more death.

Darksiders Genesis "Enhanced" ($27.99)
-Two player focused coop title that's a twin stick shooter set within the Darksiders franchise.

DayZ "Enhanced" ($24.99)
-This open world zombie survival game tasks you with trying to deal with both players, and AI monsters.

Dead by Daylight ($11.99)
-The ultimate collection of horror as players work against another player that takes on the role of a killer.

Dead Rising 3 ($8.99)
-This third entry features piles of zombies, and a large branching story to explore.

-Time to mash some more Demons in this latest release in the series.

-Join Delta to fight back against the Locust horde in this first entry that has been greatly improved upon.

Gears of War 4 "Enhanced" ($9.99)
-Time has passed, and now the Swarm have taken over for the Locust horde. Battle it out with a fresh squad.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection "Enhanced" ($31.99)
-The collection of legendary Halo titles, all upgraded and enhanced in one mega package.

Halo 5: Guardians "Enhanced" ($11.99)
-Two squads face off as The Master Chief decides to take action in a situation by himself.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice "Enhanced" ($10.49)
-Basically ASMR the game, this is one truly remarkable and visually incredible experience.

Journey to the Savage Planet "Enhanced" ($14.99)
-What a blast this game is, lots of exploration and discovery as you try to survive a hostile planet.

Jurassic World Evolution: Jurassic Park Edition "Enhanced" ($22.74)
-Run your very own park within the landscape context of Jurassic World, this one goes further by including classic elements.

Just Cause 4 Reloaded "Enhanced" ($13.99)
-It's honestly a lot of fun if you just like blowing things up, or attaching them to grappling hooks to blow them up (shrug emoticon).

-The entire first game season, follow Max and Chloe as they attempt to deal with a particular power. Beautiful game.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm Deluxe "Enhanced" ($4.99)
-This is a powerful prequel, that comes with an important extra story bit that makes this deluxe version essential. All episodes, full season.

Life is Strange 2 "Enhanced" ($15.99)
-The entire season where two brothers deal with a power and try to escape the United States.

Need for Speed Heat Deluxe "Enhanced" (27.99)
-The latest take on the series brings both day and night racing as you battle for cash or glory.

OnRush "Enhanced" ($4.99)
-This was a seriously thrilling racing game featuring intense destruction and blistering speeds.

Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition "Enhanced" ($4.99)
-Follow Ori on this dangerous mission, one hardcore yet epic platforming game.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps "Enhanced" ($23.99)
-One hardcore, yet absolutely beautiful platformer that continues to deliver.

-Welcome to the thrills of battling through this zombie infested place again.

-The classic fourth entry is available again, with some visual boosts to the experience.

-Lara Croft's second rebooted adventure finds here digging deep into a battle against Trinity.

Ryse: Legendary ($7.49)
-I'm starting to think we're not going to see a sequel for this, just once I'd like to see the DLC on sale. It's a cool Roman game, I like history so I liked it.

Saints Row The Third Remastered "Enhanced" ($27.99)
-Pal up with the Saints once more for this remastered effort that's stuffed with content to enjoy.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive "Enhanced" ($19.79)
-Lara Croft works out and decides to go into the jungle to fight Trinity, the conclusion of her origin trilogy.

Sunset Overdrive Deluxe ($7.49)
-We're likely to never get a sequel, but this one is certainly a gem!

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy "Enhanced" ($19.99)
-Spyro came back, looking better than ever and the games are awesome.

Star Wars: Battlefront II "Enhanced" ($23.99)
-Look, they've fixed things and have given you many Clone Wars planets, grab this before the third one.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-This brand new narrative driven story follows a Jedi after the fall of society.

State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition "Enhanced" ($22.49)
-A pile of DLC content and the full State of Decay 2 release. Zombie management survival game with coop.

Stranded Deep ($15.99)
-You've crashed on an island, try to survive and escape this situation.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition "Enhanced" ($14.99)
-This is a classic sort of JRPG experience bringing a wide range of unique characters and action.

Terraria ($9.99)
-2D survival and adventure game with various dungeons to crawl through as you battle bosses.

The Outer Worlds "Enhanced" ($29.99)
-This is basically Fallout, but in space and a ton of fun for an epic RPG.
