Xbox One Avatar Store Now Available

The brand new Xbox One Avatar Store is now available bringing special collections of fresh outfits, gear and special props to this latest generation of custom avatars. That's right, those exciting enhanced avatar creations will be getting fancier as players can purchase items using real money to dress them up. This is initially only available on Xbox One for Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha rings. It'll be available for everyone else later on appearing within the app.

There are no plans to bring the store to the Windows 10 version of the app at this time, it will most likely arrive after launch. You’ll be able to browse and search the content catalog and preview items on your own Avatar within the store. Additional items can be added at anytime and any purchase will be viewable within your Microsoft Purchase history. To celebrate the launch of the new store, they've included a free Xbox Avatar shirt celebrating the Insider program.
