The Xbox One Duke controller from Hyperkin now has a release date arriving in late March 2018. While that's not definitive, it certainly gives a very close time point for when the peripheral will arrive. The cost of the device will be $69.99 USD which is about standard for other current generation controllers. The Duke will work on Xbox One and PC devices with a number of improvements to enhance the experience. The memory card slots are now gone and the controller has been given proper bumpers. This will allow for easy use on all current games on the Xbox One and those with controller support on PC.
The middle area has been replaced with an OLED screen that plays the Original Xbox boot screen which is awesome and authentic. There's also the addition of USB support for plugging it in. Other than that the Duke should feel just like it did back in the day in terms of the design and materials. It should be a blast of nostalgia and something for those that like the feeling of a large controller. It's not terribly costly and should present great longevity considering the support for modern platforms. If you enjoyed the Original Xbox Duke in the past this should be the perfect emulation of that design while presenting it in a modern way.
