While 8k was all the rage at CES, TCL also provided a special little note for an update on their existing TV lines. This will be a quick prompt that will see TCL 5 and 6-Series TVs gain a number of new features. This includes specifically Dolby Vision HDR support for Xbox One X and Xbox One S consoles. This will allow owners to enjoy the most powerful High Dynamic Range experience on the market. This is part of the Roku OS 9 update which also features Spotify support, “Free” Genre Voice Search and other functions.
This should be a welcomed addition by gamers looking to get that next level of picture quality and realism for their experiences. The brand works directly with players to provide a premium experience that is catered towards them. This is achieved by working with many top tier eSports and other industry individuals to gain feedback and be responsive to it. They also support the competitive gaming scene by being the official TV of the Call of Duty World League. You can read about their 8k TV efforts below, or check out the Xbox One X hub for additional coverage on the premium console platform.
