Playmobil Knight Rider KITT Set 70924 Review

Driving onto the scene we have a Knight Rider set featuring K.I.T.T. If you’re not familiar with that vehicle it’s from the well loved 80’s TV series. This is actually a very detailed offering and certainly one for collectors as it features a very high end styling.

Included is of course the vehicle itself which we’ll chat about more shortly and also three figures. You get the key Michael Knight alongside close companions Devon Miles and Bonnie Barstow. With them of course are a variety of smaller items that fit into the world of this series. Like in general Playmobil offers many smaller detailed items and I always appreciate that.

This includes the overall special computer lab and some office furniture. There’s also a toolbox filled with a variety of tools that would keep K.I.T.T. running smoothly during those intensive moments of chase. Now we move onto the key part which is really exciting, and that of course is the car which features so many cool little elements to it.

So K.I.T.T. is just excellent in this package. It’s really something cool that fans would have out on display and likely keep the two AAA batteries in. You get actual sound bits that the vehicle would make which it does so often and there’s also a really great red light in play.

It sort of feels like it’s from the actual series if that makes sense. The interior is well detailed with detachable roofing and obviously a grappling hook too as that’s definitely needed for get any task done. The dash is also authentic so prepare for stickers. I really thought they did a grand job with the vehicle, it’s awesome.

The Conclusion

The Playmobil Knight Rider KITT set 70924 is an excellent set and a perfect addition to someone’s collection if they’re really into the show. It nails the design in so many ways and comes with the essential items you would expect to feel as though you’re recreating this universe. I’m not sure it’s necessarily something for play as I would imagine collectors will more or less display this and you’ll very much like how it looks when set out.

It’s a concise offering that I think delivers in many smaller ways that fans will definitely appreciate. It’s very sleek and authentically recreates the feeling of the show in its own unique Playmobil way. Seriously, from the sounds to the lights and little switches this can be very enjoyable to use.
