Here are the specific details in regards to the improvements that have been made for the Dying Light Xbox Series X upgrade. It features Auto HDR support for a few unique visual setting options. This includes a Performance mode which is 1080p at 60fps. Then there’s High Resolution which is a dynamic 4k resolution at 30fps and finally a Balanced Mode which is 1440p at 60fps. The LOD distance has been improved in all scenarios by twenty-five percent.

It should smoothly hit these targets with the extra power that is present. It is worth nothing that most games do receive a standard 16x anisotropic filtering through Xbox Backwards Compatibility. Those are the key details that are present.

This game is Optimized on the platform, meaning it was specifically adjusted for the platform and received these upgrades after the release of the new console platform to help improve the experience for future players. A video showcasing this is found below, alongside a photo representing the game.

Description/Synopsis

Using the magic of parkour and wild weapons that you craft or find you’ll need to take on the deadly undead that now roam the streets. Other people will also be issues as you enjoy a day and night cycle that keeps things dynamic.

Enjoy this world alone or with others in coop. That’s four players coop in online multiplayer which is exciting. There are tons of other DLC additions that take the content to new heights with so much to do and enjoy. A riveting journey of exploration, combative experiences and many unique scenarios to tackle.

Hopefully you found these details helpful in regards to understanding how this game is running on the platform. Whether that’s in the boosted resolution (visual fidelity) that’s provided in the filtering, or just generally the extra performance that assists with the Dying Light frame rate to keep it running smoothly.

Certainly great to see what these games can provide on the latest console platform that features full backwards compatible support and will see many new titles release over its lifespan.
