The LEGO DC Super-Villains Aquaman Movie Level Pack 2 is the direct continuation of the first part where we now see Aquaman somehow quickly throw together a team of individuals from the film. This happens in a rather short time frame and then you go right into a boss battle. In comparison to the first part I will say this does add better value having you complete some minor puzzles and brief objectives before the finale

The battle itself is also layered and in a separate area which rounds this out a bit more. It's also worth mentioning that you get a selection of new Minifig characters to use upon completion. There are your typical collectibles to gather as you're playing and freeplay afterwards. The mission isn't very long, but a bit better than the first one. It still doesn't really feel like much, being a lightning round compiling of the film. There are probably spoilers if you haven't watched that.

The Conclusion

The LEGO DC Super-Villains Aquaman Movie Level Pack 2 is a better effort, but still rather short and lacking content. I really wish they would push for a more traditional level experience as they really did pack a ton of narrative into one small little mission. It just feels so rushed, pure lightning speed with puzzles that weren't really well thought out.

They take a brief second to blow through and it feels like just a bit more of an effort over the last pack. This expanded the scope by having a couple different areas that you would move through, with a little battle to top it all off. It's better, but it still doesn't exactly deliver what I'm hoping for in terms of new experiences within the game.
