While you’re always earning currency within LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, it’s best to have a method for fast stud farming. This in-game monetary system allows you to gain access to characters, the “Only one business in the Galaxy…” Xbox Achievement/Playstation Trophy and other elements such as vehicles.
This tips guide here should help you find a relatively easy way to gain access to all of this to the point that you have too many studs to count. There’s also a video below that more easily highlights the best way to get this done rather quickly.
So first off, let’s go over the setup here. I would suggest doing a regular run of the game which should net you enough to get the x4 multiplier. That’s completing nine episodes, and gathering a data disc. The data discs are required for each multiplier unlock, and you simply find those by exploring the various planets and then just going to that point on the map, it’s fairly simple.
The LEGO Star Wars Stud Farming Method
Required: Rancor Character (500,000 Studs Cost)
Helpful: Distance Stud Magnet, Faster Sprint
Location: Bespin
So once you’re on Bespin become the Rancor and head to the lower area of the map. There’s an elevated platform area, start there and begin to run around the edges of the map. You’ll find yourself doing laps essentially that should net you about 60,000 Studs per 80 seconds without any multiplier applied.
You just keep smashing into the various items using sprint and they’ll respawn making this very effective and requiring no load time to keep on doing this style. The video of course highlights the most effective route and is therefore heavily suggested.
Approximate Scaling per Run (80 Seconds)
No Multiplier: 60,000 Studs
x x2: 120,000 Studs
x8: 380,000 Studs (4x2)
x48: 2.9 Million Studs (6x4x2)
x384: 23 Million Studs (8x6x4x2)
x3840: 230 Million Studs (10x8x6x4x2)
So you can see that it’s quite easy to gain studs very fast using this setup and it’ll help you get that 10 billion stud goal rather fast which is great if you want to earn that Achievement. Other fast methods include Episode 4’s Death Star Trench run or Episode 9’s Falcon Run.
That being said, I do believe this to be the most time effective setup and the easiest since you’re literally doing laps as a Rancor which is ever so easy to handle. That should grant you some speedy fast and easy stud farming.
Anyways, I hope this was helpful and assisted you in gaining some cool minifigs or just to help finish the game faster. Best of luck out there and may the force be with you, always.
