Rocket Arena is an odd first person shooter, where players use rockets to blast at one another. It’s less about eliminating everyone involved, and more about sending people off into the distance.

This was one of my surprise E3 2019 sessions as I had some free time left and sadly missed the beta event that was running prior to the showcase. This is a multiplayer focused title that features a number of distinctive and colorful maps.
Rocket Arena PC
It’s a 3on3 rocket combat game and the action does feel rather intense. I was able to play a number of matches while there in order to get a grasp of the game. It featured vibrant visuals, tight combat and some unique lane setups. The maps had a distinct design for how you’d move through them, and that kept it fresh.

There also appears to be some variation in how you battle it out. The various characters have unique abilities, and deliver rockets in many distinct ways. There are even special power attacks, and those directly impact play constantly. The selection of characters is fairly varied, and they have really distinct personalities. It’s a sort of champion branding that should be familiar to most that play these multiplayer focused games of today.

The general gameplay felt fast paced, it had a different sort of setup instead of just blasting and the movement was wild. You really could use those rockets to do weird things, and combine them with special character abilities as well. Check out our E3 2019 hub for additional coverage from the event.
