In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Microsoft and Minecraft are here to help with free educational material. So many youth around the globe are being restricted from education and now through Minecraft they can keep their minds sharp and simulated.

This is being achieved by the inclusion of an Education category within the Minecraft Marketplace. Within the Bedrock store on all devices, educational worlds are available. They can be played alone, with say your kid or even with friends.
Minecraft Free Education
There are ten worlds from the creator community as well including great building teams such as Everbloom, Jigarbov, Lifeboat, Razzleberries, The World Foundry, Blockworks, and Imagiverse. Explore renewable energy, marine biology, Greek history, space and more.

These areas include lesson plans like creative writing activities, build challenges and tricky puzzles. There are lessons and content right from Minecraft: Education Edition.

The content will remain free until June 30, 2020. Minecraft is available on Android & iOS, Kindle Fire, Windows 10 PC, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, Fire TV, Xbox One, Windows MR, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. Find a guide below on the game, or check out the general hub for additional coverage of this block building franchise.
