Minecraft Playstation 4 Minecoins Not Functional

With Bedrock finally hitting Minecraft PS4, Minecoins which are the currency on all other versions of the game will not be functional here. The content you’ve purchased will be available through account syncing with Microsoft, but if you buy anything new you’ll have to purchase special tokens that are unique to the Playstation 4 platform.

You will be able to link to access your existing Minecraft store purchases by connecting a Microsoft account on the PS4 in-game. The purchases will sync, and be available on this console once doing so.

It will grant the entitlements, and you’ll be able to grab all of the DLC you’ve already purchased. In the story you can purchase things such as character skins, textures and worlds. It’s a streamlined and safe way to collect content for your game. Additional details can be found below within the general hub for this growing franchise.
