With the latest Village and Pillage update, Minecraft has changed a lot. This might seem like a minor upgrade to some, but there are a ton of new features present. That includes adjustments to the style and behaviors of the Villagers in the game. They now have actual day to day activities and goals. They’ll work jobs, go places and head to bed.
This will also alter your options for storing them, or well having them work for you. I’ve come up with a great solution for housing, or well storing them after this big update to Java of Bedrock editions of the game. So what you’re going to do here is create Villager Bunk Beds, which you can also use too. This is definitely a humane storage facility for those living folks.
What you do to make these bunk beds is to grab some beds, some stairs and of course villagers. Make a housing area, gate it if you’d like. It really depends on how much freedom you want to give your work force. You’ll then place an object such as planks (any block really) down on the ground. Layer the bed on top of that and then delete the planks, this will leave a floating space. From there you can place a bed below it.
You will need to have some stairs for access to the top level as well, place these to the side or against the wall. Test it out to make sure you can reach the area too. You may want to leave extra room between beds in terms of spacing, that’s up to you. The Villagers will then head to bed and use them all during the night. That basically summarizes things up, make it as fancy as you’d like it to be. Hopefully you found this helpful, you can read about advanced lamp posts below or check out our hub for further coverage.
