Buildbox Free Version Available Now

Starting December 18, 2019 there will be a Buildbox Free plan available alongside a pro one. For existing members on plans, nothing with change based on this shift and all existing plans will be honored for customers.

This new offering will be one of two plans. The second option will be a “Pro” plan priced at $59 USD per month of $499 USD per year. The free version will come with limitations that are listed below.

You’ll only be able to use the Ad Networks AdMob and IronSource. A 10% or less cut taken from each on games. There’s also a one world limitation and splash screens will feature the BB logo which cannot be removed. The program will also only allow exportation to IOS and Android ecosystems. For context this is an easy, no code to create game building software.

You can create 2D or 3D worlds with over a hundred pre-loaded assets for faster building. There are templates, mechanics and more. Read details about the 3D addition to the engine below, or our game hubs for additional general coverage of titles.
