Destroy All Humans! was back at E3 2019 with a remake of the original game. I had an extended discussion with the developers to learn about what they’re doing with this entry. They mentioned that for the most part they’re using the original voice audio from the first game. It was well preserved and holds up really well for what they’re doing with this project. While the voice lines are kept, the general game is being entirely redone.
They also mentioned that they brought in the original voice actors for some fresh lines in the game, as new content is being created based on scrapped content within the original. To build on that further, if given the chance they’d like to have them come back for a new game if they get to make one in the future. For context, Cyrpto was the main character and is voiced by J. Grant Albrecht. The other noted character was Orthopox voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz.
