Gears of War 4 Double XP Forever

After a long time of updates post-launch, a big change is coming as part of a gift during Gearsmas 2018. The announcement was for turning on Gears of War 4 double XP forever. That's right, the standard experience you'd earn while playing is now doubled across the board. It will take half the time it did prior to level up, making it easier to achieve new heights in terms of your level. It might be time to finally earn that pair of wings, that's of course if you've been lagging behind on the duty. This has been mentioned as being a permanent feature in the game, across the board of the experience.

This is a practice that happens in some multiplayer titles, just to make it easier for those wanting to hit certain marks before the next entry comes out. The Gears franchise is no stranger to doing wild XP jumps, and I imagine we'll see more larger events towards the release of Gears 5 in 2019. For now, keep those chainsaws revving and prepare the festive snowball shots as continue the holiday season.
