With the latest generation of Galaxy devices having been announced, one of the surprises was the Galaxy Buds. These are wireless earbuds that provide high quality audio and voice options with a special microphone. They feature a quick pairing feature that works instantly once out of the box as they connect through Bluetooth 5.0 to your Galaxy devices. While these are designed for Android devices, through Bluetooth the Galaxy Buds will apparently work with iPhones and IOS devices though some features are only available for the former.
The pricing in Canada is $199.99 with three color options including black; yellow and white. They start shipping on March 8, 2019 with pre-order options prior. You’ll get up to six hours of Bluetooth streaming and up to five hours of calls. The compact case holds a charge for up to seven hours, and gives the buds 1.7 hours on a fifteen minute quick charge. The earbud contains a 58mAh battery whereas the cradle has a 252mAh.
They are also integrated with the latest Bixby options allowing use with picking up your phone. Use voice to make calls, send text messages or check the battery life of the buds. There’s a unique adaptive dual microphone technology that allows switching between mics to keep unnecessary noise out of your conversation. The special design is focused on providing comfort through a special ergonomic and lightweight set of materials.
This is to keep them snug in your ears during all activity types. When it comes to sensors there’s an accelerometer, proximity, hall and touch. Compatibility Android 5.0 or higher with ram at 1.5GB or above. In the box you get earbuds; wingtips, eartips, the case, a USB cable and QSG.
