Another announcement from the new line-up of Samsung devices included the Galaxy Watch Active. This is a fitness watch option that tracks data to give you advice to stay ahead of the game. The Canada price is $349.99 with pre-order options to save $50. The release date is set for March 8, 2019 with pre-order options until the 7th. It comes in four colors which are Silver; Black, Rose Gold and Green.

It features a discreet, lightweight design with a stylish focus. It comes with an integrated heart rate monitor that will send instant alerts when an abnormal rate is detected. On top of that it can also read stress levels. This device integrates with the Samsung Health App and in general it can help you manage your wellbeing. You’re able to send customizable replies using speech to text, emoticons or its intuitive keyboard.

When it comes to sleep this can track your night so you can see a clear rundown of how you spent your time. The 230mAh battery allows you to keep track for over 45 hours on a single charge. Memory wise you get 0.75GB + 4GB. Connection wise there’s Bluetooth 4.2 and Wifi support. The display is a 1.1” circular AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass. If all of this isn’t enough there are many apps to assist in your daily goals.

The OS is Tizen based with GPS and when it comes to durability its 5ATM + MIL-STD-810G. If you’re taking it under the sea the water resistance is 50 meters. Compatibility is present for Android 5.0 or higher with a ram 1.5GB minimum. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active works with iPhones as well with a minimum 5 model needed alongside IOS 9 or more.
