The Audio-Technica Sound Reality ATH-CKR7TW is a pair of wireless in-ear headphones. I was able to check them out while at CES 2019 during a random meet-up at their booth. I had some free time and was hoping to connect with some groups, audio makes sense as we cover a number of headphones on the site.
While getting a tour of what they had, one of the stand outs was the fancy small earbuds. These are just easy going headphones that nestle in each year for a wireless experience. The ATH-CKR7TW is priced at $249 USD and delivers the extraordinary sound you expect, but without the traditional wires.
They have a sleek and interchangeable 3D loop support setup for a discreet, yet secure ear fit. The button controls are convenient and provide easy operation for phone calls, music playback and volume adjustment. These are 11mm drivers tuned specifically. They're light weight and feature a fast response time for reduced distortion. They're backed by the latest Bluetooth 5.0 wireless tech and are available in black or gray.
They can be customized further with a special Connect app for IOS or Android devices and they come with XS, S, M and L sized eartips. They're charged with a USB cord which is also included. I thought these were rather neat, stylish and very comfortable. I was able to handle them and I think these are a good way to experience audio in a wireless and somewhat minimal way. You can read about their standard wireless headphones below or check out the CES 2019 hub for additional coverage from the event.
