CrossfireX Walkthrough

Walkthrough of CrossfireX which is a shooter that features a free to play multiplayer and two paid DLC operations created by Remedy Entertainment. It's on Xbox platforms.

CrossfireX is a high visual shooter experience where players take on either other within the free to play multiplayer or against other factions within the campaign. This showcase presents the two operations that are present within the game which include Catalyst and Spectre. The two missions may seem separate, but actually do connect in many ways and tell an overall story.

They were handled by Remedy Entertainment whereas the multiplayer was handled by Smilegate. The story also dives into multiple perspectives from within both of the factions so that you may see unique portions of the action that is taking place. It’s a slightly futuristic, highly stylistic type of world featuring everything from deadly drones to enhanced soldiers in the field.

The story elements are about 1.5 to 2 hours each in length on a recommended difficulty with options to find collectibles or replay at higher difficult options if desired. It’s linear in design and very straight forward action wise. It’s a unique style, feeling similar to Call of Duty and other shooters of the era. Each operation also contains three acts to work through as well and to unlock. This is on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
