Shadow Warrior 3 is the latest entry in this franchise that provides a shooter mixed with slashing action. It’s very similar to DOOM Eternal in its design where players go about blasting away enemies while working towards eventually taking on a massive dragon foe that’s flying about.

This is to save the universe, but it’s not without moments of hilarity using in-game references or pop culture ones as well. It’s about intense over the top moments with weird characters and crazy parkour to get to where you need to go. They certainly have provided one truly over the top stylistic game that’s all about intense movement that keeps the pace going as you’re trying to save everyone.

It’s basically just shooter area after area without much past that but at least there’s never a dull moment. You might find the odd hidden secret here or there but overall it’s a very straight forward linear experience from the start of it to the finish without much of a new game plus to use afterwards to keep that party going. This is on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5, Playstation 4 and PC platforms.
