While details about controller support leaked for the game a few months back, the first possibly concrete news of the MMORPG arriving on consoles has arrived. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands on Xbox Series X and PC was given a rating in Brazil today. The mention has since been taken down, but this showcases the just of it actually happening.

The massive game may finally come to consoles, and it’s also interesting that Playstation 5 or current generation consoles weren’t mentioned in the same note for the rating process. It may be some sort of exclusive deal between Microsoft and Blizzard.

Those looking forward to this will most likely have to wait and see what does happen as it would be announced in the near future if this is happening. It could be at the rumored Xbox August event, or at some sort of special Blizzard event. It is worth noting that this latest expansion is supposed to arrive in Fall 2020, and could be a solid launch offering for the platform.

More details would have to be released of course, including whether classic might be included and or if a subscription would be needed. More details are sure to arrive in the future, for now check out our review of the recently Reforged release or the general Warcraft hub for further coverage of the legendary franchise from Blizzard.
